A number of sensors in the cow housing or outdoor area pick up signals from the unique transmitters on the animals collar. The precise position, movement and direction of each animal, is monitored in real time in three-dimensions. The information is so accurate that the animals' exact location and activity can be determined from feeding to bulling behaviour. In the case of bulling, both animals involved are determined.
